Shipping & Delivery
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes! We offer free standard shipping on all UK orders. Your eco-friendly products will arrive within 3-5 business days. We believe sustainability shouldn't cost extra, so shipping is always free within the UK.
How long does delivery take?
UK orders: 3-5 business days from dispatch
International orders: Please contact us at hello@eco-faction.com for international shipping options and timelines.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently, we primarily ship within the UK. For international orders, please contact us at hello@eco-faction.com and we'll do our best to accommodate you with a custom shipping quote.
How is my order packaged?
All orders arrive in plastic-free, recyclable, or compostable packaging. We practice what we preach—zero plastic waste! Your products will be protected with recycled cardboard, paper padding, and compostable materials. Even our packing tape is eco-friendly.
Can I track my order?
Yes! Once your order ships, you'll receive a tracking number via email. You can monitor your delivery every step of the way through our shipping partner's tracking system.
Products & Sustainability
Are your biodegradable phone cases really compostable?
Yes! Our biodegradable iPhone cases are made from plant-based materials including flax straw, wheat straw, and PBAT bioplastic. They break down completely in 6-12 months when composted. They're certified compostable and non-toxic, leaving zero waste behind. Unlike plastic cases that take 500+ years to decompose, our cases return to the earth naturally.
Will biodegradable cases protect my phone as well as plastic?
Absolutely. Our cases undergo rigorous drop testing and provide the same level of protection as conventional plastic cases. They're water-repellent, scratch-resistant, and compatible with wireless charging and MagSafe. Biodegradable doesn't mean fragile—it means smart design using sustainable materials.
How do I dispose of my biodegradable phone case?
When you upgrade your phone, you have three options:
1. Home compost: Break the case into smaller pieces and add to your compost bin
2. Industrial composting: Take to a commercial composting facility
3. Return to us: Send it back and we'll ensure proper composting
The case will break down into organic matter within 6-12 months, completing the natural cycle without leaving microplastics.
Are your wooden products food-safe?
Yes. All our wooden kitchenware uses food-safe adhesives and finishes approved for food contact. The wood itself is naturally antimicrobial, making it actually safer than plastic cutting boards which can harbor bacteria in knife grooves. Our wooden products include cutting boards, serving plates, measuring spoons, and olive wood items.
How do I care for wooden cutting boards?
Daily care: Hand wash with mild soap and warm water. Rinse thoroughly and dry immediately with a clean towel. Never soak or place in the dishwasher.
Monthly maintenance: Apply food-safe mineral oil to maintain the protective finish and prevent water damage. Avoid coconut or olive oil which may develop a rancid smell over time.
Storage: Store in a dry location. If the board warps slightly, place a heavy object on top overnight to flatten.
With proper care, your wooden cutting board will last for generations.
Are your products really vegan?
Most of our products are 100% vegan. We clearly label any items that contain animal products. For example, our beeswax candles are not vegan, but our biodegradable phone cases, shampoo bars, skincare, and most kitchenware are completely plant-based. Check individual product descriptions for specific details, and look for the "Vegan" tag on product pages.
Where are your products made?

How do I know your products are genuinely eco-friendly?
We're transparent about every product's materials, origin, and environmental credentials. Look for certifications in product descriptions (compostable, vegan, fair trade). We don't greenwash—if we claim a product is eco-friendly, we can back it up with specifics about materials, production methods, and end-of-life disposal. Do you test on animals?
Never. None of our products or suppliers test on animals. We're committed to cruelty-free business practices across our entire supply chain. All our beauty and personal care products are certified cruelty-free.
Returns & Exchanges
What's your return policy?
We offer a 30-day return policy on unused items in original packaging. If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, contact us at hello@eco-faction.com within 30 days of delivery and we'll make it right. Please see our Returns Policy page for complete details.
Can I exchange a product?
Yes! If you need a different size, colour, or product, we're happy to arrange an exchange. Email us at hello@eco-faction.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number and what you'd like to exchange. We'll provide instructions and a prepaid return label.
What if my item arrives damaged?
We package everything carefully, but if something arrives damaged, contact us immediately at hello@eco-faction.com with photos of the damage. We'll send a replacement or issue a full refund—your choice. Your satisfaction is our priority.
How do I return an item?
Email hello@eco-faction.com with your order number and reason for return. We'll provide a prepaid return label and instructions. Once we receive the item in original condition, we'll process your refund within 5-7 business days.
Ordering & Payment
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. All transactions are secure and encrypted through Shopify's payment system.
Is it safe to order from your website?
Absolutely. We use industry-standard SSL encryption to protect your personal and payment information. Our checkout is powered by Shopify, one of the world's most trusted e-commerce platforms. Look for the padlock icon in your browser's address bar—that's your guarantee of a secure connection.
Do I need to create an account to order?
No, you can checkout as a guest. However, creating an account allows you to track orders, save addresses, and checkout faster in the future. It's completely optional.
Can I change or cancel my order?
If you need to change or cancel your order, contact us at hello@eco-faction.com as soon as possible. If your order hasn't shipped yet, we can modify or cancel it. Once shipped, you'll need to follow our standard return process.
Product Care & Usage
How long do shampoo bars last?
Our natural shampoo bars last 2-3 months with regular use—equivalent to 3 plastic shampoo bottles! To extend their life, keep them dry between uses with a soap dish that has drainage holes, like our olive wood soap dish.
Are shampoo bars suitable for all hair types?
Yes! We offer different formulations for various hair types. Our Nettles & Rosemary bar is great for promoting hair growth and scalp health, while our Goats Milk bar is gentle and moisturizing for sensitive scalps. There may be a 1-2 week adjustment period as your hair adapts from bottled shampoo.
How do I use compostable dental floss?
Our bamboo dental floss works exactly like conventional floss. The corn fiber is coated in olive wax for smooth gliding and infused with peppermint oil for freshness. When the floss runs out, simply purchase a refill—the bamboo dispenser lasts for years.
Can I recycle the packaging?
Yes! All our packaging is either recyclable, compostable, or reusable. Cardboard boxes go in recycling, paper padding can be composted, and any protective materials are biodegradable. We never use plastic packaging.

We're currently online-only, which actually reduces our environmental footprint by eliminating the energy costs of a physical retail space. Shopping online also means lower prices for you!
